Soul Crossed by Lisa Gail Green

*The following text is a spoiler free, honest review. On other notes this title was given to me through Netgalley and the associates who approved me. Thank you and enjoy the review.*

Let me ask you a thought provocative question. Can angels and demons fall in love? If so are they suppose to, or is this something God set up? If that is the case let me then ask you this question; can you be wrongly placed in heaven or hell?

Okay, allow me to explain the book that spawned these questions.

When they were living they were truly two different sides of the spectrum, now they have something in common, they’re dead. Josh wasn’t all bad when he died nor was Grace all good. You can call it divine intervention that caused these two to die.

Now Josh is a demon and Grace is an angel and both of them are competing for this one soul. The soul of the boy named Cam is armageddon starting kinda a soul so no distractions. Well that worked… but only for so long. They say opposites attract and well that remains true because not soon after do Grace and Josh fall in love. Let me tell you this is a big no no is both heaven and hell until one side sees they can use to their advantage. Similar to siblings, when a rivalry begins hide, and duck for cover because things are about to get tense and bloody.

There is so many takes on angel/demon/fallen angel romance that sometimes I think it’s been over done, but it’s nice to have a breather with something that breaks the mold and starts it’s own trend. Dang the plot twists, you will literally never see it coming. You like angels, you like demons, and now you have to wait for the 25th for your newest favorite book. The wait will be short lived but the book will keep you talking for days. PICK THIS BOOK UP WHEN YOU GET THE CHANCE.

Rating: 4.5 out of 5 stars. Cait out.
